Shipping policy

 

Here’s a little overview of how order processing & shipping works for Sweet as El. 

Orders within 16km of WInter Valley, Ballarat are delivered by us! For orders outside Ballarat, we ship with Australia Post, and only offer express shipping. This is to again ensure that your treats arrive before the weekend.  If you have questions about shipping please contact us at hello@sweetasel.com.au

Whilst Australia Post does deliver to PO Boxes, we recommend using a street address.

 

 Where do you ship?

We ship Australia wide! As stated above, to help make sure you receive your yummy treats by the weekend we ship each Tuesday, and by express only. Orders will close 5pm the day before each delivery day. You can also order up to a month in advance to pre-order for any special occasions you may have.

All shipping options for your delivery address are displayed at checkout, along with exact prices.

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to support shipping to international locations.

 

Do you do local delivery?

Yes definitely! Our local delivery is for Ballarat, and happens on Tuesday & Thursday each week after 4pm, so you treats will arrive just in time for the weekend! Make sure to get your orders in by 5pm the day before each delivery day. You can also order up to a month in advance to pre-order for any special occasions you may have.

 

Why can't I select the date I want?

Some delivery dates may be unavailable for a number of reasons. We have a limited amount of orders per day, so the date will become unavailable if the order limit has been reached. We also need a break sometimes too! So we may also blackout some dates that we are unavailable for. 

 

When will my order arrive?

For our Australia wide shipping, we use Express by Australia Post. We will send your order off for delivery on a Tuesday each week, and delivery times may vary. Please check out Australia Post's express delivery times for a more detailed response.

For local Ballarat delivery, your order will go out on Tuesday and Thursday each week. You can now select a timeslot, so you can have some understanding in your delivery times. Local delivery will be contactless, so you will get a notification when your order has been delivered. 

  

Whoops! I made a mistake when I placed my order. Can you help?

We’re on the case! If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can make adjustments to the contents and shipping details. Simply reply to your order confirmation and let us know what’s going on. If you need to reach us proactively, contact us at hello@sweetasel.com.au

 

Where is my order? 

You’ll get an email confirmation immediately after you place your order and receive another one the day your order leaves our kitchen. The shipping confirmation email will include the order’s tracking number, which you can click to get updates on transit.   

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder and add hello@sweetasel.com.au to your safe senders list.

 

Help! There was a problem with my order. 

We definitely do our best to ensure only the best of our treats go out to you. If you have an issue with your order, please reply to your order confirmation or email hello@sweetasel.com.au and let us know what’s going on. We will do our best to make it right.

 

Do you accept returns?

Given the perishable nature of our treats, we aren’t able to accept returns. If you have an issue with your order, please email hello@sweetasel.com.au and let us know what’s going on. We will do our best to make it right.
